After graduating from INSEEC Business School, Laurent Veyrenc built up 10 years' experience in banking, over half of which was spent with Banque Worms, in addition to nearly two years (1998-1999) at Europe Finance et Industrie, where he carried out 17 SME IPOs.  For nearly four years he co-ran the financial structuring consulting department at Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance, advising numerous businesses on their initial public offerings or debt restructuring, and advising heads of listed and non-listed family businesses on how to raise funds through investors and banks. 

 From January 2005 to June 2011, he managed the Corporate Finance department he had created at Groupama Banque.  Laurent joined Capival in 2013.
